My wife and I recently became caboose owners and arches members. We would like to share a few pictures with fellow members. Our caboose is former Maine Central extended vision #670 it was purchased last fall from canaan ct and brought via the housatonic and CSX to the Southern RR of NJ at Winslow where I am currently employed. The caboose has had heavy fire damage to the interior and is about 80% complete.

Here is a picture of 670 on smedick siding in Canaan, CT a few weeks before its truck trip through town back to live rail . My mother and sister did the saftey appliance painting and lettering and my father in law did the job of securing the windows on a ladder in the dark .
